A NATIVE'S JOURNEY
As a native of Chittagong, I have always been captivated by the natural beauty that surrounds my hometown. The green hills, the soothing sounds of rivers flowing has been a part of my life. Growing up I had the opportunity to explore the serene nature of Chittagong and the experience left me in awe. Let me start with Patenga Beach, my favourite escapade when life becomes monotonous. Sitting across the beach in the late evening when the sun starts to set with plate of fritters (locally known as piyaju) and hearing the soothing symphony of waves crashing against the shore provides a calming ambiance. It is a place where time seems to slow down, allowing me to appreciate the simple beauty of my birthplace and reconnect to my roots. Next comes Sitakundo - a place filled with lush hills and ancient heritage. There is Chandranath Temple at the top Sitakundo hill which offers a picturesque glimpse into our spiritual heritage.
